Almost 4 years now...

How times fly.... ITS ALMOST 4 YEARS, its crazy...

Its been almost 4 years now. Abigails turns 5 next month and we are so busy almost everyday, that I sometimes wonder how fast everything goes and how much we must treasure every single moment we have in life. It might be over within just a second.

I have been writing about getting a divorce before, but Im going to mention it again, because still after 4 years it can break my heart thinking about it. Not that I want to go back, it didn't work out for us, but because I lost a lot getting a divorce. Not only a husband, but also a family, a relationship, friends, my house, all the things I moved from Denmark to the states, are still in USA and I might never get them back. I miss my dogs almost everyday, nothing can really replace them. Loosing everything and starting from 0, actually gave my a life lesson, that I will keep in my heart forever and nobody will never really understand the way I live or the choices I made for Abigail and me, because they never walked in my shoes and they never will. All I ask for is to listen when I tell my story and I promise you I will listen to yours.

Abigail still sees her father, he is a good dad and he loves her very much. We talk or text a couple of times every week, Abigail likes to talk with him on Skype or FaceTime. She is going to visit him this summer and I think its going to be great for them to have the summer together. It's going to be difficult, but still, he sees her 2 months and I have 10 months, I think I can survive, I did it before, but its just as difficult like the other times, that doesn't really get easy.. I still deep down in my heart think that it's the right thing for her to see her dad and to know that she has a absolutely amazing family in the States, who loves her, just like we love her here in Denmark. I really don't want her to have to search for her family one day or ask questions where is is from. She knows and she is until now perfectly fine with it.

The funny thing is, right now at this moment, I'm doing better then I never have imagined. I just got the dream position as a RN in home care. Its wonderful, and I love it. I never dreamed about loving this specific job, but I do and I love my co-workers too. I have been educated as a RN for 10 years this summer, can you believe it? 10 years... Lucky my co-workers didn't believe me, when I told it, they say I still look so young :) Not to mention my BF... I don't want to jinx it, but he is HANDSOME... and tall... ( Yes you might read this)

I truly deeply LOVE my life right now, I have nothing to complain about, I got everything I dreamed about. So I'm going to create some new dreams, thats the fun part of life, creating new dreams...
